The LTFAI invites members and friends to join us first for our Annual General Meeting, followed by an engaging LTFAI Talk on Lithuanian sash weaving techniques.
Sash weaving has been a vital part of Lithuanian culture for centuries, combining practical craft with artistic expression and cultural symbolism. In this talk, our speakers will explore traditional weaving techniques, patterns, and the heritage behind these beautiful textiles. Attendees will gain insight into the skill, creativity, and cultural significance woven into every sash, along with tips for practicing and appreciating this traditional art.
Whether you are a craft enthusiast, a supporter of Lithuanian heritage, or simply curious about traditional weaving, this event offers an enriching experience for all.
