Become a member
Your membership brings vitality to the Lithuanian Folk Art Institute and supports its mission to uphold the legacy of traditional Lithuanian folk art. If you become a member, future workshops (online or in person) will be free or at a reduced cost. We plan to hold a number of workshops throughout the year on traditional crafts such as karpiniai (paper cut art) and weaving juostos (woven sashes). Membership will also provide access to digitized material such as books and videos.
Individual Annual Membership is $10. Members can vote at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in April and membership is based on that timing and not a calendar year. Please send your name, contact information, questions, interests or experience in folk art to: gro.i1611441049aftl@1611441049tcatn1611441049oc1611441049.
Membership fees can be paid online via PayPal. Click the button below. Membership fees can also be paid by cheque, payable to Lithuanian Folk Art Institute. Please send to 1 Resurrection Rd., Toronto Ontario, Canada M9A 5G1.
Become a Volunteer
If you do not wish to be a member, why not volunteer? We always appreciate support for workshops and other events.
We are very appreciative of the generous support of our major contributors. Become a sponsor! Contact us if you would like to advertise on our website and support Lithuanian Folk Art on a short or long-term basis: gro.i1611441049aftl@1611441049tcatn1611441049oc1611441049.
Your support counts! A gift to LTFAI can be a thoughtful way to honor birthdays, anniversaries, or special occasions. As we are not a charitable organization under Canadian law we cannot issue tax receipts. But your name will be listed on our website.
We thank the Lithuanian Canadian Foundation and Lithuanian Foundation (USA), which have always been generous supporters of our endeavours.
Many of our events take place at our Lithuanian parishes and community centres, and we thank them for their ongoing generosity in letting us use their facilities.
To ensure that folk art and supporting material such as books and photographs are not lost or may otherwise be discarded, we welcome donations to add to the LTFAI archive. For more information please send us a list of items (and photos of the artifacts) that you wish to donate: gro.i1611441049aftl@1611441049tcatn1611441049oc1611441049.
